What are the price ranges on the various apartments seen on your Floor Plan pages?

HORIZONS at South Meadows will offer one, two and three bedroom apartment homes with rents starting at $895.00.  On our Floor Plan pages, you will see there are two styles of two bedroom apartment homes to choose from. You will also notice there are one, two and three bedroom apartment homes with attached garages.  There will also be carports ($15.00 per month) and detached garages ($95.00 per month) available for you to rent.  Depending on YOUR needs and the particular apartment you choose, the monthly rent total will vary.  Please call (775) 851-1122 and have our staff help you determine the cost based on your needs or answer any questions you may have.

When an apartment is available for occupancy, what fees will be due?

The first fee due will be a non-refundable $40.00 per person or married couple Rental Application Fee.  Upon approved credit and approved rental application information, a MINIMUM $400.00 Security Deposit will be due.  If you have reserved an apartment with a $200.00 Reservation Deposit, that $200.00 will be applied to your Security Deposit leaving a MINIMUM balance due of $200.00.  Depending on YOUR occupancy needs, there may be additional fees due prior to processing your rental agreement.

Does HORIZONS at South Meadows allow pets?

Yes.  There will be an additional Pet Security Deposit of $400.00 (of which $200.00 is non-refundable) if you have pets.  Pet rent is $20.00 per month per pet.  Pet breed must be approved before you begin the Rental Application process.  You will also be required to provide a current vaccination certificate showing proof of ownership and weight for each pet from a licensed veterinarian before you begin the Rental Application process.  All pets MUST be on a leash when accompanying you outside of your home.  At this time, HORIZONS At South Meadows will allow one apartment home to have a total of two (2) pets not to exceed seventy-five pounds in combined weight.  HORIZONS at South Meadows will allow one (1) dog with a maximum weight of seventy-five (75) pounds or two (2) dogs with a maximum COMBINED weight of seventy-five (75) pounds per apartment home.  If you are a cat owner, you may have two domestic cats per apartment home.  There will be areas along the perimeter of the property that will be designated "pet areas", and there are sidewalks throughout the South Meadows area and nearby walking trails that your pets and you can enjoy together!  Residents will be responsible for pick-up and removal of their pets' waste.  Residents will also be responsible for noise compliance requirements concerning their animals.  PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER SO THAT WE CAN ALL LIVE TOGETHER AMIABLY!!
